I have had a great experience in Dr. Guffey's office. In the lasxt 5 years I have moved several times -- but I have always returned to see him at his office. I currently drive about 60 miles round trip to see him. I have even followed him to his office in Gilbert. He is someone who treats you well--with respect. He cares about your dental needs -- of course, but then he helps you get the work done without pressure -- or guilt. I have been to other dentists who make you feel like your life depends on whether or not you get your fililngs done tomarrow or not (more like thier vacation depends on it). So, thank you Dr. Guffey and staff for being an office I can trust!

Having had a wonderful dental office experience I am inspired to tell others about it.

Doctor Guffey and his staff Joe, Yevette, Robin and Sarah were genuinely caring in all ways when working with me as their patient. Their professional manner when treating me was of the highest degree possible. All the people there were very friendly and even offered me a discount program that made my treatments affordable. Though the work I needed was competitively priced to begin with.

Because of how well I was treated, the excellent quality of the people and the quality of the procedures I received it would be almost selfish if I didnt tell my fellow east valley residents about this office. Mountain View Family Dentistry at the N.E.

Doctor Guffey and his staff at Mountain view family dentistry have done a great job for me. I had been putting off important dental work that i had been needing for many years - so of course I was very anxious about fianlly starting to get it done. I was helpped to understand the treatment at every step of the way. They helped me to plan the steps so that I could afford it and use my insurance the best. I was also often seen on Saturdays which made the time off work better. I have reccommended Dr. Guffey to others and would do so again.

I was concerned about trying a new dentist, so I was glad to find one with so many good reviews, but I was also concerned that that might mean he was expensive and had a long wait for an appointment -- sometimes the "best in town" just means the one with the fanciest office and the most expensive fees. But, this is not the case in Dr. Guffey's office. He has real down to earth office with great friendly staff. They took my insurance that made the fees reasonable and for my husband without insurance they gave him an office dental discount plan. He has a very comfortable office - I look forward to returning.

I have had two implants completed by this doctor. I am so glad that he persuaded me to consider the dental implants. I was uncertain of the process at first, but now I glad that I didn't choose the other options. I marked that his office is expensive, but I actually found them to very reasonable -- I just think that all dental/medical work is expensive. Besides, do you really want to find the cheapest dentist? -- Not me.

Everyone at the office is kind and caring; I walked in the door this morning for a regular cleaning and was greeted like a friend, not a patient. They do everything they can to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend this practice to anyone new to the area or just looking for a better dentist.

I think Dr. Guffey and his staff are top of the line when it comes to dental care. I was a certified dental assistant years ago and actually interview a dentist before I go to them. My last dentist I went to until he retired, I plan on going to Dr. Guffey for many years to come.

I had been seeing Dr. Guffey for several years, but had never had any need for anything other than routine cleanings and checkups. But, then I had an accident and broke one of my front teeth. It was so painful and of course it ruined my smile. I was reluctant to have an implant to replace the missing tooth, because I thought it would be painful. But Dr. Guffey insisted that I consider it. I am so happy that he helped me choose the implant. I have just completed the treatment, and I am so amazed at how beautiful the tooth is, it looks more natural that my other teeth. It all went so smoothly without any pain. I am so grateful to him and his staff. Thank you! I can Smile again!

I've been saved!

I have had years of traumatic experiences, with more than one dentist. One of my former dentists, would proselytize about her religion, keep me there all day, while playing ultra conservative radio stations, and bring people from her church in to redeem me, while I was in the chair being treated. I changed to Mountain View. In spite of having to drive a long distance, Mountain View is one of the most satisfying dental experiences to date. Dr. Guffey and his staff are wonderful and efficient. The practice is run very well. Wait times are short. Dr. Guffey remains knowledgeable about current industry trends. I've been saved!

I feel like I have 'tortured' by dentists my whole life. I came to Dr. Guffey with some really bad teeth problems. I had tooth aches for years but I was so afraid to go to the dentist. I had so much work to do, Dr. Guffey and his staff was so patient with me. They used sedation to make it possible, so that I was comfortable during the appointments. I actually can't remember most of the appointments because of the sedation. I was so happy with my smile int he end. If you are looking for a good dentist--visit Dr. Guffey

After several years of recommendations from Dr. Guffey, I finally agreed to implants to replace several of my missing teeth. It has been so successful that I am now going to insist on my husband getting his missing teeth replaced with implants as well. I wish I had not waited so long. Of course the only reason that I ever agreed, was because Dr. Guffey and staff were so patient with me and my anxieties about the procedure. They made everything go so well. I initially started seeing him from a promotion in the mail, but I have since recommended him to several friends. A great Doctor!

I would highly recommend Mountain View Family Denistry to anyone! I saw Dr. Michael Baird today (my first visit) as Dr. Guffy was not in. I had a semi-emergency situation so I called and they scheduled me on the spot...EVERYONE was so kind and comforting! While I have not met Dr. Guffy, my guess is that he's probably just as wonderful.

I would not hesitate to refer Dr. Baird or Dr. Guffy to anyone. The staff is professional and top drawer...I have found my new dentist!

I have been a patient of Dr. Guffey for only 2 years, but I have been very impressed by his skills and professionalism. He has done several crowns and fillings for me. When I first started with his office, he offered to whiten my teeth. He has also recently completed an implant tooth to replace a missing tooth.

One of the things that I appreciate the most about his office, is that he offers a discount dental plan for patients who do not have insurance. It saves me a lot of money.

I have suffered for years with my teeth. I have always had problems. There is usually a decade between my dental appointments. But it is the best I could do since I was so terrified that I could barely step in a dental office without having a panic attack. I'm so grateful for Dr. Guffey and his staff, they have really helped me to get over my fears enough to have the treatment done. I recently started my family seeing Doctor Guffey because of reviews I read on sites like this. I am happy to add my positve feedback to the lit of other patients who have had a good experience with him. Just the fact that he has TV's to watch the news of sports while I'm getting my treatment done is a big deal. Somehow his staff was able to take xrays without it hurting too much -- which ais a big deal in my mouth. I hope to continue seeing him for a long time.

I was initially interested in Lumineer veneers and consulted Dr. Guffey for that reason. As it turned out, Lumineers weren't the best choice for me, but Dr. Guffey definitely was! I had consulted with other dentists about cosmetic dental work, some of whom were actually cheaper, but I'll know for the rest of my life that I made the right choice. Everyone in the office shares his vision of compassionate, first-class dentistry, from the front desk to the hygienists and assistants. There is a tremendous emphasis on education and preventive dental care in the practice, and it's an understatement to say that I learned a lot. Everyone was available to answer my questions along the way, and Dr. Guffey phoned me at home to check on my comfort level after a long day in the office. The staff seemed almost as thrilled as I was with my final results and I'm happy and relieved to have found a dentist for life!

I deeply appreciate Dr. Guffey since I have had some negative experiences in the past. I opted to have five of my front teeth done with the esthetic crowns specifically because I have been with Dr. Guffey long enough to know and trust his work. My sisters were shocked the first time they saw me in person after the work was completed. They both said I looked like a different person. My teeth used to be small, damaged and discolored (see photo in Dr Guffey's office). I used to purposely hid my smile and now I smile comfortably.

I have recommended Dr. Guffey to several friends and acquaintances because I trust the office to do what they say, and care about those I send their way.

Everyone in the office is friendly and professional, but in my opinion the most important person is the dentist and Dr Guffey has an excellent chair side manner.

Oh by the way, I drive from south Chandler now back to Mesa because of the trust and relationship I have with the office.

He is a great dentist! He does not waste time. He gets to the point and thats what I like. His team is awesome! Also on top of things, very social! Your in and out within good timing! I will never be afraid to go to the dentist again. I didn't feel ANY pain at any time during the lengthy procedure, and Dr. Guffey thoroughly explained everything he was doing before, during and after my treatment - there were no surprizes. His patience and personal care was phenomenal. The environment was comfortable and caring, and the doctor and staff went to great lengths to assure my comfort and the success of my treatment.

His staff seemed to understand my crazy insurance plan better than anyone else in the past.

Dr. Guffey's assistant even called me later to make sure I was doing alright.

This was THE best dental experience I have ever had, and I would never want to see any dentist other than Dr. Guffey. What more can I say?

SATURDAY HOURS A REAL PLUS!!

Just the fact that this office has Saturday hours makes them a great choice. Finally we don't have to take time off work and school to see the dentist regularly. They are very friendly, we have only been seeing them for about a year but they treat us like we have been there forever. We have always been seen on time there also. great office.

I have had a very difficult time finding a dentist so I decided if I ignored my teeth, they would go away.

Then I realized I had no choice but to go to the dentist and a dentist visit was on the top of my "Fear List".

After being treated by Dr. Guffeyand his staff, I 100% regret not going to him for years before.

Dr. Guffey and his staff are all very professional and attentive to their patients needs.

They are also such a friendly and personalble group of professionals. The hygienist is very personable, and GENTLE.

I recommend anyone who needs to find a dentist to go see Dr. Guffey and you will not regret it. I couldn't believe how comfortable a dentist and his staff could make you feel until I went to see him.

PLUS his treatment rooms have television you can watch while you are in treatment!! - How great is that - awsome for the kids.

In my recent search for a local dentist, I found this site with all positive reviews of Dr. Guffey and his office and decided to make appointments for me and my husband.

We both had our teeth cleaned and got fillings; my husband also got a minor root canal.

Last month I broke one of my back molars. I did not want to return to the last dentist I had so I researched various Mesa dentists online. I found a recommendation for Dr. Guffey written by one of his patients. And, since I liked what it said about Dr. Guffey, I made an appointment.

Well, I have not been disappointed! While any dentist visit is stressful, I have to say that Dr. Guffey and his staff have made the situation as pleasant and pain free as possible. Each aspect of my care, from the finances through to the crown placement, has been handled extremely well.

I have had a lot of dental work over the years from a variety of dentists. And, I am very comfortable saying that Dr. Guffey is one of the best dentists I have ever been to.

I would recommend Dr. Guffey and his staff for anyone's dental needs.

I have has several major procedures done by Dr Guffey and I received excellent care. My family and I have been patients of Mountain View Dental for over 10 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I get a complete explaination beforehand, incluuding the cost. I am treated with courtesy and respect. He and his staff are proffessional and friendly at all times. They try to make each visit painless but are honest about possible effects of the treatment and do not make you feel like you are just complaining. They truely care about each patient. You spend very little time in the waiting room. I appreciate the reminder calls before each appointment and follow-up calls if needed. While in the chair, treatment is done quickly but not overly rushed. I am never made to feel as though I am in an assembly line nor do I feel as though my time is being wasted. I would and have recommended Dr. Guffey to friends.

I can't recommend Dr. Guffey highly enough. I contacted him a month before an important vacation/business meeting to replace veneers that were darker than the surrounding teeth, and also for teeth whitening. Dr. Guffey met with me early in the morning (so I didn't have to miss work) to discuss options and got started a week later. He was great about explaining options, but also giving opinions. We worked together to pick the best color and shape for my veneers and he was always gentle and friendly when doing the work. Everything was done with time to spare before the trip and my teeth look great. My husband and I plan to use him as our regular dentist from now on. He and his staff are friendly, down to earth and helpful.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Guffey and his practice. Everyone there is wonderful! From Liz & Sherry,the hygienists, to Debbie, and Naja at the front desk. I feel like everyone there genuinely cares about you. Not just on a patient level, but on a personal level. Dr. Guffey is very patient and kind. He is always concerned about your comfort while he is working on you. He is truly a great dentist.

Dr Guffey's office and staff were very very friendly and comforting. He gave me very honest suggestions for my treatment and even suggested alternatives that would cost less.

In the past, other offices had screwed up my insurance billing, but his office seemed to really understand how to work with my insurance, NO BILLING SURPRIZES!!!

I was impressed by his gentle and painless injections. He even lets you watch movies while he works.
