Let me start out by saying that my crooked teeth didn't really bother me. I didn't have any self-confidence issues becuase of them. I basically accepted them for what they were. That being said, something as simple as a straighter smile boosted, what I already considered to be a high level of confidence, to another level. It's totally and completely worth the periodic sore teeth, getting food stuck in there and giving up some things you may be used to (I was a gum chewer)! The results are amazing.Dr. Larrabee and his staff are phenomenal! They get to know you and talk with you like a friend rather than a client. They make sure you understand everything. Also, they were very flexible with my schedule. I had to move out of state by a specific date and they made sure I was ready to go by then (which was a bit ahead of what was scheduled).I have nothing but praise for Dr. Larrabee, his staff and the results of my treatment.

A few months before my son turned 8, he had to get braces on his bottom teeth in order to make more room in his mouth. Specifically, he had a permanent tooth that was "stuck" underneath his gums due to overcrowding. Our experience with Dr. Larrabee and his staff has been fabulous. The office presents a clean, professional and friendly atmosphere. Dr. Larrabee was always cheerful and gave clear explanations and instructions about my son's treatment and procedures.The office is extremely "kid friendly". My son especially loved earning "Larrabee Loot", which he could turn in for really neat prizes. There is also always some kind of contest going on. Dr. Larrabee truly is the coolest orthodontist ever! I wish I would have had an orthodontist like him when I had to wear braces a long time ago!In the end, Dr. Larrabee did for my son exactly what he set out to do--make more room for his permanent teeth to come in.I highly recommend Dr. Larrabee to anyone who needs an outstanding orthodontist!

I was referred to Dr. Larrabee from our previous orthodontist since he was closer to our home. From day one he was very friendly, helpful and patient. The office staff is extremely friendly and acknowledges all the kids by name when they arrive. My son had an accident and hit his mouth, so he was on the longer treatment plan. He recently (finally) had his braces removed and his teeth look wonderful. We also used him for my daughter. She had her first phase of braces removed today and her teeth look beautiful. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Dr. Larabees office. We have and will refer him to everyone we know.

Wow, we are so impressed with the beautiful results of my daughter's ortho treatment by Dr. Larrabee! Since then, my other daughter got her braces on at Advanced Orthodontics with Dr. Larrabee, something she was actually looking very much forward to. Dr. Larrabee and his office staff are very professional and make each visit fun and enjoyable. The office is warm and inviting. Treatments are state of the art and I find the doctor to be very thorough in his explanations of services. I am always given an update of how the treatment is going. Words can never express the gratitude I have for Dr. Larrabee and his staff. The customer service they provide is above and beyond any service I have ever had. I had an illness called TMJ (Temporo-Mandibular Joint Syndrome) and I didn't know where to turn. I heard of Dr. Larrabee through my dentist. My dentist only had great things to say about Dr. Larrabee. The first time I met Dr. and his staff I was sold. They treated my TMJ and also treated me with the utmost respect. They are the kindest people you will ever meet. I also met Dr. Larrabee's wife ( and the new Baby) and she is just as kind as he is. I will be referring family members and friends to his office. My son is a patient there and my husband will be joining his patients list. I also wear Dr. Larrabee's t-shirt everywhere, ask him. Dr. Larrabee's office was fun and exciting. From day one I enjoyed every appointment (as much as I possibly could). He went out of his way to make it as easy for me as possible. I had an allergy to the braces and he took them off on a day the office wasn't even open. I have referred a couple people to him. The cost was reasonable. They formed a payment plan for my family that worked out very well. I love my new smile, it has given me more confidence. If I had to have braces again, I wouldn't do it anywhere else. My son was refered to Dr. Larrabee in May of 2007 by his regular denist and I couldn't be happier. His first vist was gave us all answers need to know before we left. My husband is so pleased that he and our younger son will be getting their braces there starting this month. As far as the cost... It is expensive, but the results are amazing. His office will help create a plan for you to insure that you are happy and get the results you want. Dr. Larrabee has an awards program set up to incourage children to maintain the braces as well as academicly. My family loves his office. The staff are kind, caring, and overall understanding. They all strive to make each person feel welcome.

As an older patient (in my 50's) I found I would have preferred a bit more explanation of what was about to happen in my mouth beforehand, possibly before I got leaned way back in the chair. It's just a personal preference to be on equal footing before I have a procedure done that I was not familiar with and have a better opportunity to ask questions. I know the majority of his patients are teenagers, so his music selection was not always relaxing to me. Maybe he can schedule some "quiet" appointment times for those of us who prefer a quieter setting for dental work. Just a thought.The staff both up front and chair side were professional and attentive. Dr. Larrabee is very proficient and professional with a great personality. While I may not have always like the actual procedure I had to endure, the folks in the office made it as pleasant as possible. I have no hesitation in referring Dr, Larrabee to others who are exploring orthodontists and teeth straightening.
