1. How can I finance my dental care? Financial companies like Care Credit, Capital One and Lifestyle Lending Solutions are institutions which provide financing for medical/dental treatment. In a situation where an individual may require payments to complete their treatment, these companies offer a good solution. Based on your own personal credit, you may be eligible to receive financing ranging from $300 to over $25,000. Monthly payments start from as little as $15 a month. 2. Is this a credit card? No. This is a loan given by a financial institution to specifically finance dental treatment. Whether you will have revolving credit is up to the discretion of the lender. 3. What interest rate will I pay? Most of the time, this is dependent on your personal credit score. They generally range between 5% - 13%. Our office offers 0% or interest free plans for 12 months for treatment over $1000. After the 12 months, your interest rate will default back to your predetermined rate based on your credit score. 4. Why can't I have a 0% plan for treatment less than $1000? We have made available zero percent plans by paying your interest for you. In an effort to help our patient's receive dental treatment, we have committed to paying their interest for one year. Finance companies still make money off of your loan. Who pays for the interest is where the difference lies between interest and interest-free loans. Unfortunately, due to the cost of doing business, it is not feasible for us to offer the 0% plans to smaller treatments. To take advantage of the zero percent plans, you would have to charge at least $1000. 5. Who do I make my payments to? We are not directly involved with your financing. Your payments are made to the company who has financed your treatment. We are always here to help you address any issues that may develop. 6. Will you still bill my insurance company? Yes. We will bill insurance and use your finance plan only for unpaid balances. 7. Will I always know when my account is charged? Yes. We will never charge your account unless we receive permission from you. For further information, please visit our website at www.reyesdental.com/finance/aspx.
