Case Description

My teeth are in horrid condition. I will probably lose them all. I cannot lie back far without getting dizzy/nautious, and I've been through several dentists who cannot work with me. I am terrified of going to the dentist - even now I am in a cold sweat. I don't understand sedation dentistry and I'm not sure I can cope with that. Is there a possibility of an oral surgeon giving me a general and removing my teeth for full dentures all at one time? I'm in trouble and I know it. I have two teeth on the right that have broken off, one tooth split in half, and a molar that is giving me problems. Please help.

Well first off I will tell you that from what you describe, you should be in a specialists office like myself. We are trained to handle more complex cases like yours. I personally treat anxious patients like yourself everyday. My staff is well trained to make your time in my office as comfortable as possible. Your first visit to my office for a consult shouldn''''t be stessful because we won''''t be doing anything to hurt you at all. What you bring up as problems and solutions for your treatment, is often accomplished at one appointment under general. Meaning, taking teeth out,placing implants, and placing dentures(if that is your treatment choice) all in one visit. This is common practice for us.
