Case Description
I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past because I have a very bad gag reflex. I'm looking for a dentist in the Chandler area who will have the patience to help me.

A you can see I''''m not in chandler, but I have vast experience treating patients with severe gag reflex issues. My specialty is focused on treating more complex patients for these procedures you have listed. It may be worth the extra 10 minutes on the road for quality care. Good afternoon! There are options for patients with bad gag reflex. First, there are oral medications that help to relax and decrease the susceptibility for gag reflex. Also, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) has also shown to be helpful in some cases. I deal with patients on a daily basis who have either had previous poor experiences with dentists or have the reflex concern that you mentioned. I feel confident in my ability to be patient but I also feel that our office "specializes" in reversing the feelings many people have about previous dental visits. We actually have people leaving happy and relaxed. Certainly we aren''''t perfect, however we have worked hard to help serve and soothe our patients.
