Case Description
I have a temporary filling set in my lower left molar. I know all of the dentists are going to cringe when I ask this, but is there any possible way that it can be pulled? I cannot afford a crown in split payments and I need this taken care of fairly quickly. One of my family members had a bad experience with carecredit and another with CITIfinancial. So I'm leery on those companies. But a quick answer would be greatly appreciated!

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Hello, It would be better if you saved the tooth because it would cost you more to replace the tooth than to "fix" the current tooth. But if the tooth is loose, then it would be better to extract the tooth. Carecredit, if you are approved, offers an 18 month, no interest, no payment plan. If you have any more questions, please feel free to call Lee Dental Care at 480.284.7640. Thank you,Dr. Peter Lee

Hello,My name is Dr. Kidess. In response to your question, a tooth certainly can be extracted, that is always an option. All your options should be explained to you though, and one important deciding factor to remove or retain this tooth (if it is saveable) should be whether this will impact the remaining position and alignment of your lower and upper teeth. These are questions that should be addressed. Hope this info helps, if you would like more information, then please give us a call at 480-991-2290.

Of course it is always possible to pull a tooth if you absolutely have to. As you know we try to save them but I can understand being in a position to have to extract it. We have an opening on Wednesday with my partner who is one of the most gentle surgeons you would ever want to meet. If you are interested in getting it done that soon then just call our office and let them you know you need to come in for an extraction. We will look at it and hopefully we can find some way to help you save it. But if we can''''t, we''''ll get it out for you. Just give Bethany a call at 480-892-1711Best of luck!

HiIF your tooth is truly non-restorable, extracting it is the best option. However once a tooth is gone - its gone forever - so always try and save your teeth. PLease call our office & we can see if other financing options may be available to you. Another company our patients are using is Springstone Financial. Hopefully that would help you. Thanks. Saving the tooth is the best. If it does not hurt and your tooth did not loose much of it sound structure, a good filling may be good enough to restore the tooth in much less expensive than the crown ( and of course you still can have the crown anytime in the future). If it hurt, chance is decay was deep and involved to the pulp tissue inside the tooth, and it means that more expensive restoration cost with root canal, crown... We always try to save the tooth in conservative, less invasive, and therefore less cost. If non-restorable, extraction can be done at our office too. Call our office at (480) 726-6545. We hope we can save your tooth by filling which is less expensive than extraction and you still can save the tooth, but we need to see the Xray and the patient for proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Thank you.
