Case Description
I have a visibly noticeable cavity shared between teeth 17 and 18 and would like to know how much it would cost to get fillings for these two teeth. There is only slight pain when I bite down but it's very easy for food to get trapped inside. I have not been to a dentist in over 10 years. Thank you for your help.

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
  • Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
  • Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description, special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
  • Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
  • Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors. Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

05-07-08,

Dear Potential Patient,

Assuming you have your X-Ray''''s, and have been advised already of your situation from another Dentist, according to your request- we would recommend making an appointment with us, bring your x-ray''''s with you, if not we can take new ones of the teeth in question. We use digital x-ray''''s with 80 to 90% less radiation exposure than traditional x-rays.

Dr. Kidess will need to do at the least- a Limited Exam of the teeth in question, evaluate your x-ray''''s, and then give you your treatment options. We do not quote fee''''s over the internet, but our fee''''s for a limited exam, and possible limited x-ray''''s if needed, would be very fair and reasonable for the area, and you would never be made to feel pressured or obligated.

We believe a well informed and educated patient is the best, and that is what Dr. Kidess will do for you.

Please feel free to view our Patient Reviews and Practice Information on www.DoctorOogle.com, and also check out our Web Site: www.PVsmiles.com, to meet Dr. Kidess and learn more about our Wonderful Practice.

We hope to see you soon.

Thank You,

The Team at: Reem Kidess, DDS, FAGD, PLLC

Cost Estimate: $$315 - $400
We provide different options of treatment. For May 2008, Fine Dentistry honor limited exam at $45.00 and we will waive $35 Xrays for new patient. If the tooth only need filling as you describe, it involves 2 to 3 surface filling each tooth. It cost aproximately $150 to $180 each tooth depend on how large the decay is. Patient with no insurance will have 10% off on treatment cost. If decay is too large and deep and extend to pulp tissue, then root canal will be necessary. We are proud of our gentle and comprehensive treatment to our patient with affordable cost. Please contact our office at (480) 726-6545.
