When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Sounds like you want things done right. Although I have experience in large cases both cosmetic and functional, your best bet would be to get an appointment with a Prosthodontist, as implants truly do add a level of difficulty in achieving ideal esthetics. Full mouth reconstruction cases should typically span from 6 months to a year to complete to verify functional tolerances and TMJ health, so be cautious of an office that promises only weeks to completion. I typically work with Dr. Mark Montana in Tempe and have found him to be very thorough and his office provides exceptional service. There are other Prosthodontists that do occasionally respond on this forum as well, and you may do well seeking a consultation in their offices (don''''t just look for the complimentary consultation offices). You may save some money going with an exceptional general dentist, but it doesn''''t seem like saving money is your motivation. Good Luck!

I agree with you; it''''s your body, after all. Whomever you choose, ask about Lava crowns. They are a self-healing porcelain made by 3M, and are awesome. Also important to ask your dentist, is who they will be using for their laboratory. The quality varies widely. Microdental MAC or Glidewell is usually the best choice for this sort of procedure. And don''''t be shy! Ask to tour your new dentist''''s office, and see the sterilization center. They should be proud to show it off!Just a thought....www.MatthewBayneDDS.com
