Case Description
I need to have complete dentures. I need extractions and all. I have always worked in offices and am finding it hard to find employment . I am certain my smile is why. I feel extremely uncomfortable and very embarrassed. Not to mention ashamed. I do not have a job nor do I have insurance. My boyfriend has offered to give me 800.00 towards getting dentures but with extractions and all it is just not enough. Is there anyway to get this done asap so I can get a good job?

The top front 4 are broken. I have bridges on both sides, I had braces when I was younger and they took quite a few teeth then. I have 8 on the bottom and they are no better

It sounds like you know what you want. The difficult problem is cost. I would tell you that extractions, alvoeloplasty and temp. denture plus final dentures could run more than 6-7 thousand dollars. You may need to try the dental school to find an affordable solution.

Unfortunately, $800 wouldn''''t be adequate to obtain even one upper or lower denture in most any competent dental practice, and certainly wouldn''''t cover more than 6-10 dental extractions. However, there is a dental school where they employ specialists that are highly experienced in making dentures and in oral surgery (extractions). They supervise dental students who could treat you for s much lower cost than in private practice. The only trade off is your time. Cases usually require more appointments and you''''ll be there longer at each visit than a dental office. The dental school is in East Mesa, on Baseline and Recker. You may reach the clinic at (480) 248-8100. Their fees are a fraction of what you would find in a private practice, and you will be under great care. You may find this to be a valuable resource for all of your dentistry, if time is more available than money. Good Luck!
